Abbey is available for adoption with her sister Ava (black and silver), they are a bonded pair, sisters from the same litter and have been together their entire lives.
She is 5 years old and weighs 5 lbs. Her adoption fee is $500.00 but since the girls need to stay together, the adoption fee for both girls will be $800.00. Abbey and Ava are litter mates who have been together their whole lives. They both are crate trained and like to potty outside, they walk nicely on the leash and get a long with other dogs. They do not feel comfortable around small children since they have never been around them but will let anyone pick them up or pet them. They both tolerate grooming and teeth brushing and even getting dressed up!! Abbey and Ava stick together but also do their own thing. Like Ying and Yang they are good together. Ava is more relaxed and will hang out on the couch or in her bed alone. she is not fussy about anything. Abbey will push her way past Ava to get to the food bowl or a nice warm lap, I sometimes think Ava is rolling her eyes at Abbey! Abbey is vacationing in South Salem, NY, with Robyn and her family. Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
