PUPPY available for Adoption.

She is 10 months old and weighs 7 pounds.

Her adoption fee is $600.00.

Adorable Skyye is pure puppy, she loves to run, jump, and play.  She is such a sweet little girl and will have you wrapped around her paw in minutes.  She is a bundle of JOY that will steal your heart every time she looks at you with those loving brown eyes!   She is a very smart girl.  Skyye does potty outside and will go when you ask her to.  She will sit for a treat, loves playing with her toys, enjoys chewing on her bully sticks and she sleeps through the night.  Skyye loves to sleep in her bag while riding in the car and you do not even know she is there.  Her favorite pass time, practically all day, is playing with her foster siblings.  She plays tug of war with her toys, steal the bones, hide the ball and run from room to room chasing each other.  Skyye also loves to run and chase her buddies out in the fenced in yard (weather permitting).

Adorable Skyye has dry eye and will require care to her eyes each day.   She is just a little burst of energy and will bring such happiness to your heart and home; it is so much fun to watch all of her puppy antics!

Adorable Skyye's ideal forever home will have someone that has the time for a puppy; to teach her all the things a new puppy requires and that is home most of the day.  She would love a young four legged companion to play around with and that would keep her company when her person would have to leave the house for a couple of hours.  She is sometimes timid when meeting new people but rolls over on her back for belly rubs and you become her new best friend. She loves to run and chase the other dogs in her foster home so a fenced in yard would be perfect for Skyye.  Skyye will also make someone a great walking companion as she is full of lots of puppy energy.  She loves to cuddle on the couch with her person and foster siblings at the end of the day.  All dogs adopted from SAY Rescue, 2 years or younger are required to attend professional obedience training.

If you feel you could provide the perfect forever home for this precious little girl then put in your application now and get yourself approved to adopt the little princess!

Adorable Skyye is staying with Kathy and her gang in Voorhees, NJ.

KEEP THESE FACTS IN MIND:
1. Yorkies do not usually get along well with small children and can be injured by small children, even ones who love them. Be aware of this and keep them apart. 2. Yorkies can be very difficult (nearly impossible) to housebreak. If you are gone for more than 3 hours at a time, the dog will have to have access to wee wee pads, or need someone to stop in to let him out to potty.
3. We almost NEVER get a puppy (less than one year old) in Yorkie Rescue. If only a puppy will do, check the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America website for a recommended breeder - never buy over the Internet, or from a newspaper ad or a petstore. The heartache you save will be immeasureable.
4. There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie, so don't be misled by such a description. LEARN about the breed BEFORE you decide to adopt.
5. You will need to make arrangements to drive and meet the dog at the foster home which can be in New Jersey, western PA, Maryland,  etc. The dog's biography lists where the dog is fostering. We want you to meet the dog with your family and your dog, if you have one. This is a requirement for adoption.

WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption donations generally vary from dog to dog, it depends on the health, the age and the size of the dog.

Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.

 ADOPTION AREA

Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you.

Be aware that you will be asked to drive to meet and pick up your dog.
