Little Bosley is available for adoption.
He is 1 year old and weighs 3.1 lbs. His adoption fee is $900.00. Little Bosley is loving life! He has been through a lot in his first year but he is thriving! Bosley had Atlantoaxial Luxation surgery and it was successful! Although Bosley is pain free and happy he still has to be careful not to re-injure his neck. This means his people cannot leave him on a bed or coach where he could accidentally fall off, he also needs to be carried up and down stairs so he doesn’t slip and fall. Bosley would love a doggie sibling but it must be very calm and small like him! He can’t play rough or do anything to strain his neck like tug o war. Bosley is so tiny with a very tiny face, he gets congested easily so he is on the tiniest bit of Claritin daily and probably will always have to take it. Bosley has an extensive dental surgery to remove most of his baby teeth and his teeth are in great shape now! He loves following his foster family around the house so it is best to be in an adult only home so he doesn’t get caught underfoot. He loves to go outside to potty but uses wee wee pads also. He travels well in the car and would be easy to take just about anywhere! When he is left home it shouldn’t be for long because he should be confined to a safe area which means he won’t have much to do all day at home alone. Little Bosley is staying with Robyn and her family in South Salem, NY. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you.
