Our new little girl, Kita! She may just be the world's most perfect lap dog. She came to us from very wise shelter workers who realized that she was special and wanted the best for her. Kita was an owner surrender but the owners had her only a short while, and said she had been a stray when they found her. We will never know more than that about her past six years of life. Shelter living is extremely stressful and delicate temperaments suffer. Knowing this, we were unsure of what to expect. But what a happy surprise when she came out of her crate into her new foster home. She immediately wanted to be on laps, wagged at her new canine companions and won hearts over in a flash! Even rolling over for a tummy rub. We will look for a very compassionate and loving home for her as her past life may have been harsh. Only the best will do. Beautiful Kita weighs eight pounds, golden honey and silver coloring, and is of a very slim build. She is Save A Yorkie Rescue's Super Model. Please put in your application. She is vacationing in Williamsport, PA More about KitaGood with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
