Miss Bliss is available for adoption. Miss Bliss is 12 years old Miss Bliss weighs about 4 pounds. Miss Bliss's adoption fee is $250. Miss Bliss was found roaming the streets of Old City Philadelphia - she walked right up to a stranger and that nice stranger took her to ACCT in Philadelphia. ACCT called Save A Yorkie to see if we could take her in to help her find a home and of course we said YES! Miss Bliss was in bad shape when we picked her up - She was covered in dirt and her hair was matted, she had large tumors on her belly, rotten teeth, a skin infection with patches of missing hair and a thick toenail caused by fungus. She was taken to the vet for evaluation and we found out that she is at least 10 years old, has premature cataracts and a grade 2 heart murmur. She had surgery a week later to remove the tumors, the toenail and get a dental. She also got medicine for her skin infection. Her premature cataracts causes her to have dry eye so she gets over the counter eye drops twice a day.She is all healed up from surgery and is ready to go to her furever home.
Miss Bliss loves to be near her people at all times she follows her foster mom from room to room and wants to be close. Her favorite thing to do is take naps on someones lap. She sleeps in the big bed at night with her foster Mom and Dad. She loves treats and meal time, she rides well in the car and loves to go for walks. Miss Bliss is housebroken and goes potty as soon as she is taken outside. She gets along well with her three doggie foster brothers but she gets a bit protective over her foster Mom's lap but as soon as her foster Mom corrects her she listens.
Miss Bliss would do best in a home in a quiet relaxed energy home where someone is home all day. She would be the perfect match for an older person who lives a low key, relaxed lifestyle.
