Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
Guess who is ready for her forever home?? Pip Squeak! She is 3 lb of puppy love! Pip has been through months of vetting for a Liver Shunt. Our wonderful vet was able to repair the liver and it is working! She feels healthy, feisty and loving. Pip loves people and other dogs. She has no experience with cats. Pip has lived with her Foster Mom for 7 months as part of their family.
Pip’s adoption fee is$700.
For Pip to continue to flourish, she needs
1. Someone home most of the time - this is to continue with her house training.
2. Another playful small dog in the house. She loves to play - she will take 20 toys out of the toy bin and has them all over the place!
3. A fenced yard. Pip has refused to walk on a leash. We have a trainer coming in to help work with her and it is a work in progress or not! She will need to go to training as soon as they give the okay for a Rabies vaccine.
4. A family that will follow up with her veterinary requirements - Ammonia level check in 6 months. Vaccines that she has not been able to receive. Prescription food.
Pip has many preapproved potential adopters wanting to adopt. She is only one dog. Please do not apply for Pip if you are not already through the process. Look at all our other wonderful dogs.
Pip Squeak is vacationing with Cathy in Macungie, PA. Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
