Gordo is available for adoption. Gordy is my first Latin lover dog. He comes to Save a Yorkie Rescue from Puerto Rico, post earthquake. His background is unknown as he was found as a street dog. He is a tad taller than my Yorkies and a little thin for his frame. He is weighing in at about 12 pounds right now. He is a good eater and a great sleeper. He is very affectionate which is good news; we are working hard on his potty manners.
It has been an uneventful week for Gordy. He has mastered his potty communication notice. He climbs up on my lap and gives an abundance of kisses. First the kisses then he goes out and goes potty outside every time. He is a happy pup that deserves a really great forever home.
The perfect furever home for Gordo will have a bilingual family that can communicate with him. I believe he would also do best if the family had a laid back small dog. Gordy is a true treasure. More about GordoGood with Dogs Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
