If the dog is listed on petfinder,he/she is still available.Hi it's me, Mighty Gabriel! When I was found wandering all alone in the woods of NJ, I weighed only 3lbs but it's been over three months since I arrived and I've gained weight - I am now up to a whopping 5lbs! I have made myself at home on my recliner in my room. I wake up late in the afternoon and then go like a little energizer bunny until 10pm. I follow mom from room to room or I'll just sit beside her on the floor or, if I say it real pretty, up on her lap. I am quite the catch for someone that is home most of the day. See my pretty face. My hair is growing in nicely and at one time was a lovely coat. Although I'm in no rush to go,(mom love me lots!) I want a forever home like any other puppy. Could that home be with you? If you think it is, fill out an application on our website: www.saveayorkierescue.org or call my foster mom for more information!Thank you all that have donated to help sweet Gabriel. His vet bills are still high, can't you help?Save A Yorkie Rescue is a non-profit organizationoperating on donations only. Please help our cause by clicking on thePaypal button below. Generosity is appreciated!KEEP THESE FACTS IN MIND: 1. Yorkies do not get along well with small children. 2. Yorkies are very difficult (nearly impossible) to housebreak. 3. You will NOT find a puppy in Yorkie Rescue. 4. It is rare for us to get a FEMALE into rescue. 5. There is no such thing as a tea cup Yorkie so don't be misled by such a description. LEARN about the breed BEFORE you adopt.Adoption donations range from $150-$450 depending on the health, age and size of the dog. ALL money goes to pay the vet bills of our dogs - the younger, healthier ones pay for the old and sick. We prefer homes in the PA and NJ areas but do consider homes in the nearby surrounding states. More about GabrielIs Not Good with Kids Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
