Koffie anyone? Koffie, tea or ME? I am about 4 years old and a pure Yorkie boy. Just 9 pounds of joy! I was turned in to the pound by a person that found me on the street. I have some minor medical issues that need to be resolved but before you know it, I will be ready for my new home. Could that home be with you? Keep watching for an update and new picture. Yorkies do not get along well with small children. 2. Yorkies are nearly impossible to housebreak. 3. You will NOT find a puppy in Yorkie Rescue and we consider a dog up to 3 years old to be a puppy. 4. It is rare for us to get a FEMALE into rescue. 5. There is no such thing as a tea cup Yorkie so don't be misled by such a description. 6. Senior Citizens get preferred treatment. LEARN about the breed BEFORE you adopt. Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
