This 12 yr. old, Silver and Tan Yorkie has had a quiet life for some time and, at 17 lbs., is looking for someone to take him for nice walks and watch over his diet. Radar is up to date on all his shots, very quiet, likes other dogs and cats, and would make a perfect apartment dweller or where barking could be a concern. He is house broken and, all in all, just too good to be true. Radar LOVES the outdoors, which is a new experience for him, and will be ready to take YOU for a walk. He loves to be napping in a quiet corner or just waiting for you to give him heaps of love. Radar's adoption fee is $150. Hurry! He is quite a catch and won't be around long! br>Save A Yorkie Rescue is a non-profit organizationoperating on donations only. Please help our cause by clicking on thePaypal button below. Generosity is appreciated!KEEP THESE FACTS IN MIND: 1. Yorkies do not get along well with small children. 2. Yorkies are very difficult (nearly impossible) to housebreak. 3. You will NOT find a puppy in Yorkie Rescue. 4. It is rare for us to get a FEMALE into rescue. 5. There is no such thing as a tea cup Yorkie so don't be misled by such a description. LEARN about the breed BEFORE you adopt.Adoption donations range from $150-$450 depending on the health, age and size of the dog. ALL money goes to pay the vet bills of our dogs - the younger, healthier ones pay for the old and sick. We prefer homes in the PA and NJ areas but do consider homes in the nearby surrounding states. Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you.
