Binky - This little man is unsure of people right now and no wonder. One year ago, two ladies bought Binky as a puppy. He came to their home but they had a toddler who was not supervised with the puppy. The child pulled the puppy's hair, smacked him - even bit him! Poor Binky - he could not get away from the torture. One of the ladies saw his torment and gave him away. He went to a home where he became a therapy dog for a girl who has tuberous brain. the girl had a second operation to remove part of the brain and it changed her personality so now she can't stand the dog on her lap. The sad part is this little guy would warn them if she was about to have a seizure and would go get them. That is amazing. Too bad we can't find another family that could use his services as a therapy dog . He is a sweet dog and gets along with the other dogs in the foster home. He was supposed to be afraid of men but warmed up to the resident man and wasn't afraid of him at all. He hasn't spotted the cats yet so we aren't sure of them. He loves to ride in the car. He ate a good supper and hopefully will sleep well tonight. He is adorable and a little on the thin side but seems healthy. He is right on the money for size. Binky loves to ride in a car, plays with toys and walks fairly well on a leash. He needs to get his shots and be groomed - then he will be ready to come home with you. Give one small dog a chance to find his forever home - please. Binky will be vacationing near Lancaster, PA with Mary Ellen. Binky will be a buddy.. if you give him a chance.
