Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
A gentleman - that's what he is. A sweet gentle soul with eyes that have seen sadness and the horrors of dying dogs all around him. He feels so fortunate that someone thought enough of him to come and take him away from the killing rooms. He is not defeated. Even though his best friend took him to the dog pound to die. Oliver didn't give up or display a temper. He's a philosopher, believing what goes around, comes around. So he isn't looking back. He enjoyed the ride in the car, it was a blessed relief to be away from that dog pound. Yes, he would love a bath, thank you very much and what's that you say - something soft to eat - sure he'll have a bite of that. Oliver is hoping that you are looking for an easy, restful, caring companion because he is looking for the same thing. He hopes you aren't too old or too busy - that you will share your bed and your potato chips with him. While gentlemen prefer blondes, he really doesn't mind if your hair is gray or if you have any hair at all - as long as you will take him for a walk, provide some tasty food - it doesn't have to be gourmet. Oliver is vacationing with Sandi in Mount Royal, NJ but call Marilyn for updates and information at 610-670-2183. Please put in your application today. Thank you kindly. Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
