Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
Ada woke up this morning with her usual kisses, happy squeals and little jumps.
She is very well behaved. She will come when you call her with her tail, back legs and hind quarters dancing. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She is a quiet dog only barking when she needs to come in or go out. Her personality is grounded, warm and loving. Ada has a beautiful coat of Yorkie colors and enjoys being groomed. Her favorite place is the back of the sofa watching the world go by. Ada is housebroken as long as I remember to let her outside every 2 hours so she can do what she needs to do. Ada is a delightful Yorkie to foster. She loves walking and is good with the leash. We went for two walks today. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Ada smelled everything and everyone in the neighborhood. She loves meeting new people, dogs and even cats. Loud noises do not seem to bother her. Nor do blowing leaves, flags or signs. She is eating very well. If I remember to let her out every two hours she will do her business. I wonder why she will not go while we are walking only in the back yard. Strange. I made her a toss toy today out of an old sock and some blue buffalo biscuit crumbs. Put the crumbs inside the sock and sew it shut. She had a grand time. I would toss and she would fetch and then we would horse around to see who would toss again. Her ears when up and she hopped, skipped, jumped and rolled around. She would bark and jump every time she tossed up the sock. There was no food aggression. Nor aggression against me when I had the sock. Ada has decided the best place for her is in the dog bed on the sofa with me. She has begun to open up and settle in. As I said a pleasure. Ada is vacationing in Baltimore, MD with Marie.
