Super cute and super energetic ….. Baxter is new to rescue. He is 3 years old and 11 pounds and as beautiful as they come. He has a wonderful personality and is loving and fun to be with. Baxter knows the basic commands — sit, stay and come and barks at our back door when he needs to go out. He is learning to ring the bells on our back door to show foster mom he needs to go outside — he is catching on quickly.
Baxter is doing very well with a busy household of teenagers and foster brother Brady. He wants to be in the mix and just close to everyone - He cuddles on your lap and seems to take it all in. He is defiantly a lap dog too! He loves to chase and retrieve the ball and play with other dogs in the neighborhood. He is great on a leash, friendly to every dog he meets - regardless of size, and full of energy. He is very curious about everything in the house, and follows foster mom everywhere.
He is a healthy, well groomed, active boy who needs a home where people are active and walk. His mom had to give him up due to her work schedule. Baxter was clearly well loved, trained and cared for! We were told he was in a crate during the work day, and so far he sleeps in his crate, but spends his down time in his dog bed in the kitchen with foster brother Brady. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and is micro chipped.
As they get to know one another better, his foster mom will provide more information ....foster mom can tell you that Baxter will not be in rescue for long … he will make a wonderful addition to a family who has love to give!
