Michi

Michi was adopted by Donna and Jim and her fur sisters Giada and Bella. She was very excited to meet everyone. She loved romping around the house with Giada and Bella and all the cuddling and loving from Donna and Jim. Enjoy your new fenced in yard and long walks in the neighborhood. Have a great life and lots of fun with your new family! Congratulations Michi!!!

Minney

Less than 30 minutes ago Sweet Minney left her temporary home here with us to make her way to Maryland and a new life!! The Thomas’s arrived at 2 pm and the #nealpack greeted them with barks and kisses all around. Toby, their 3 year old yorkie was polite and put up with everyone’s noise! We then went on a pack walk around the block to get acquainted and establish who would pee where :-) As usual Beau showed all his favorite spots to the pack and Toby found a few good ones of his own. Their daughter Cheyenne took over the lead for Minney while all chatted about our pups and love of yorkies. Minney gave her a present not long after and Cheyenne took it in stride. She didn’t bat an eye but pulled a bag from the container on her leash and picked it up. I thought it was a good sign of maturity. Right after that we returned home. All the dogs took a drink of water and played a few minutes before we got down to the business of adoption. I confirmed they still wanted to adopt as I sat in the chair looking at Minney in Cheyenne’s lap giving her lots of kisses and affection! I didn’t think there was any doubt. They were taking her home! But I always ask the question just in case. They were in love with her from the start. It’s hard not to love Minney. She is such a sweet dog. Congratulations Minney!!!

Mylow

Mylow was adopted today by Liz and Roger. After the loss of their dog, Bart, they needed time to heal before opening their hearts to another dog. And when that time arrived, there was Mylow. To say Liz and Roger were excited to meet Mylow would be an understatement. In the week prior to meeting him, Liz was busy ordering all the creature comforts that would be needed for the new addition to their family while Roger lovingly collected the boxes arriving daily at their door. When the day finally arrived to meet each other, Mylow ran to them like he had known them forever, tail wagging, jumping on their laps and planting big kisses! Liz then took some toys from her purse that she purchased just for him during her shopping spree. It was heartwarming. After signing the adoption agreement and going over paperwork, Liz pulled another purchase from her purse. She gently attached it to her new little boys collar. The tag said MYLOW, neatly printed on the back was his new forever address. Congratulations Mylow!!!

Maximillion

Max is doing wonderful getting adjusting and letting his sweet personality shine through. He has done great getting to know our fur babies and fitting right into our home. We have decided Max fit in so well into our home that we wanted him to be apart of our family. His fun loving personality and the way he settles in for his nightly snuggle time we would miss too much. Looking forward to many years of squirrel chasing, ball playing, and all the kisses and love this boy has to give. Congratulations Maximillion!!!

Miranda

Miranda (Randa, Rae Rae) has found her forever home and it was a lot closer than she imagined. A few days after Theresa came back from vacation, she welcomed her new foster, Miranda. She was just released from her surgery and Ted E, Maura and Marley the cat, all helped with her with her recovery. Unbeknownst to all she stole their hearts. There is something special about her, the way she dances on her to back legs and the happiness that radiates from her. She came to SAYR as a stray from New York, the Vet believes she has had at least two litters in her lifetime, a broken elbow that was never treated and healed improperly, and a small piece missing from her tongue, as well as five mammary tumors removed which were all benign. Theresa proceeded with prospective candidates for Miranda. Ted E had other plans. In the short time Theresa had Miranda, she had bonded with Ted E. Maura and Marley the Cat all welcomed her to the bed they share with their fur Mom. Theresa could not imagine life without her “tiny dancer”. Mornings now start with Ted E, Maura and Miranda playing in bed, kissing their Mom repeatedly and jumping all over her, and Theresa would not have it any other way. Congratulations Miranda!!!
