Ted D

Every time we spoke on the phone, Donnie kept asking me...when can I pick up my little man? Donnie, Donna, and 2 sisters came along for the three hour drive to my house.Ted D knew this was his new family because he and I had discussed it. They knew Ted D was blind in one eye and it didn't faze them, I discussed Ted D's seizures and the medicine that was required and they explained that Donna had had a dog with seizures , so they were familiar with the medicine and the process! He gently sat on both Donnie's and Donna's lap and was quite content. We went for a walk, and all the dogs got along. After filling out all the paperwork, Ted D fell asleep in his new daddy's arms. We took pictures and they were just thrilled with him! I called them that evening and all was well. I called the next day and Donnie proceeded to tell me about all of the errands him and his little man ran together that morning. Then he said, (very nicely, but firmly) you are not getting this dog back! Congratulations Ted D, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Amethyst

Another foster failure with a very happy ending! Congratulations Amethyst, you are a very lucky girl!!!

Ali

Who wouldn't fall in love by just looking at him? Ray had been approved in the fall. He was waiting for a Yorkie to come into his life and give a rescue a new chance at life. Enter Ali!! It was LOVE at first sight! Ali and Ray bonded immediately. In fact, as Ray was filling out the adoption papers and holding Ali, Ali fell asleep in his arms. Have you ever seen a bigger smile in an adopter? Ray's photo tells it all. Congratulations Ali, you are a very lucky boy!!!

L'il Shadow

Shadow was excited to meet their two girls. The girls paid him little heed. Shadow was in love with his foster mom and we hope that will transfer to his new mom as quickly as he formed an attachment. Shadow does have nice manners and showed them off to his new family who were impressed. While his grooming has been neglected up until now it will be well done from now on. He will have friends and a lot bing mother and dad. Shadow bade farewell at sunset and road into the West. He is a lucky boy to have a family so devoted and knowledgeable about his needs. He will be treasured. As he deserves. Congratulations L'il Shadow, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Lui

Lui was adopted this evening by Virginia and Tom, they drove to meet him from the DC area. They spent a few hours here with us, and just fell in love with him. They were a really wonderful couple and will give Lui a fabulous life, just like he deserves. Congratulations Lui, you are a very lucky boy!!!
