Oakley Everything worked out with the Maryann and Michael for the meet and greet and adoption. Oakley is on his way to his forever home. Now I need to recover, feeling sad. We are really going to miss that little guy!! What a joy to have him here. Their dog, Vittoria has the same personality as our Stella...super loving and playfulâ¦that will be great for Oakley! They are renaming him Luca. Congratulations Oakley!!!
O'Grady O'Grady here - I have some great news, I have been adopted and found my forever home! After several weeks of constant communication and nervousness, Bob and Leah finally made the trek to Delaware to meet me! It wasnâÃÂÃÂt easy though, as there was an overturned tractor trailer on I-95 and a 2.5-hour delay to meet me! There would be nothing that was getting in the way of joining us together. I was waiting anxiously at the bark park for my new parents and my brothers Oscar and Moyer to arrive. When they finally arrived, we did some heavy playing and running around, and Bob and Leah fell in love with me. I knew they would, as I am cute as a button! After about an hour of playing and chatting, my foster dad left me with my new parents, and we started our 2-hour ride to my new home! I slept on Dad's lap the entire way home! I would like to thank Save-A-Yorkie Rescue for taking me in and finding me both a temporary and permanent home. I would not have had a safe and enjoyable life without the organization and their great volunteers! And a special thanks to Bob and Leah for checking out my page and bringing me home! Warm regards, O'Grady - Congratulations O'Grady!!!
Ozzy Ruby & Ozzy were adopted by Steve & Lynn last Saturday. They lost their baby boy Chase to a rare cancer at only 7 just a few months ago. Ozzy & Ruby have immediately filled a whole in their hearts & they already love the bonded pair so much. As soon as they walked in the door, they both got right down in the floor with the dogs. Ruby & Ozzy went right to them like them had known them forever, it was heartwarming. They have a lovely home with a big yard. Lynn will be home with the dogs most days which is great because little Ruby is no fan on her crate. They are working on training and our own Rita Stanley who has been kind enough to help. I think this pair is going to have a wonderful forever home with Steve & Lynn. We are very happy for them but Sara & I sure do miss them â¹ Congratulations Ozzy!!!
