Rascal

Rascal has found his forever home with the Carons! They came to meet him and fell in love. They plan to enroll him in obedience classes soon to help perfect his manners and keep him engaged in learning and good behaviors. You are finally home Rascal! Congratulations you are a very lucky boy!!!

RocksE

RocksE was very happy with her new family. I had a long talk with her prior to their visit and she was very happy to meet them. She laid down next to each one of them on her own and actually leaned into them and even put her head on the daughters leg. They are thrilled with her and I just talked with them. They had a 6 hour drive home. She ate, they took her out and she is now cuddling on her new Mommy's lap!

Rosey

Phone calls and emails started coming in asking about Rosey. Everyone thought they had a good reason to adopt her. Almost everyone I spoke with appeared to be missing something that would give her the forever home she needed. Some had no fenced in yard, or worked all day and she would be home alone, others simply wanted a “lap dog.” She needed a fenced in yard to run in, chasing after the chipmunks and birds. She needed companions other than humans. We knew that she needed Oliver to play with in the yard and take walks with her. My husband and I also knew, after a short period of time that we needed her to be part of our family. She is still becoming a loving and playful puppy. After only a few weeks, she cuddles more, plays more and has gained a lot more confidence in herself. She pushes Abby and Oliver, much larger dogs, out her way when it’s time to play in the yard. I enjoy watching her chase them and try to engage them in a tug of war. She’s not the same anxious dog she was when she first came to our home, but rather a very playful puppy. This little girl with her adorable smile and crooked teeth has captured our hearts. It was impossible to let her go. Congratulations Rosey, you are a very lucky girl!!!

Raz ma Taz

This little guy took a piece of my heart but a part of him will always be with me. With Jane, his new mommy he won't vie for attention he will be the prince. Jane and her two teenagers are so thrilled to have him. Isn't it great when you have a bond and trust with the adoptive family. Jane sent me lots of photos when they arrived home of Taz in the house, walking outside in the leaves, even at night time with sleepy Taz. 3 weeks with him and I fell hopelessly in love so I can only imagine the love that Jane and her family will have for him for the rest of his life! Thank you Jane for giving him all that he deserves in life! Congratulations Raz ma Taz, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Rookie

Kim and Jim came to visit Rookie on Saturday morning. We discussed his social fear around strangers, mostly men. Kim sat with Rookie for a long period and said that she felt her and Jim could deal with Rookie's needs. We discussed his normal daily routine. Rookie got along very well with the Dugan's dog, "Chooch". Congratulations Rookie, you are a very lucky boy!!!
