Sully Sullivan Sully was just adopted by Fraz and Tessa. They are very nice people and he will be very well taken care of and loved. He went on a long walk with Kricket and they bonded on the walk. He warmed up to them immediately and was wagging his tail the whole way out to the car when he left. Congratulations Sully, you are a very lucky boy!!!
Sandra Dee Jaden (Carol and Richardâs dog) and Sandra Deeâs first meet went great. Sandra Dee was accompanied by her foster brother, Chazzy and they all did a lot of sniffing of each other and we went for a nice walk. Carol was given detailed info on Sandra Dee by Lynn inside her house, all while the dogs were checking each other out. Once we got back to Albany at Carol and Richardâs house, Sandra Dee walked in and began exploring while Jaden showed her his huge array of toys. It seems like Sandra Dee is the perfect addition to their familyâ¦in fact Jaden and Sandra Dee look very similarâ¦like they are brother and sister!! Congratulations Sandra Dee, you are a very lucky girl!!!
Sawyer Well it didn't take our family long (less than a week-) to realize that Sawyer was too good to pass up. He fits our family to a "T" easily adjusting to the family cat and his younger Yorkie brother. He loves his walks in his new neighborhood and happily greets everyone he meets. He's got a lot of fun energy for a 7 year old dog but at the same time he loves to relax and snuggle in our laps at the end of the day. He impresses us regularly with his intelligence and clever tricks, such as rolling over and shaking paw. He obviously came from a family who loved him and trained him well and we are fortunate to benefit from that. Thank you SAYR for helping to bring Sawyer into our lives. Congratulations Sawyer, you are a very lucky boy!!!
Sweet Izzy Pat and Bob recently fostered a little Yorkie by the name of Sweet Izzy. She had been with her former owners for 8 years and unfortunately had not received any vet care in that time. When they picked her up she just jumped in Pat's lap and fell asleep all the way home. She was very thin and had a horrendous odor coming from her mouth, telling us her teeth were very bad. Very quickly Pat and Bob discovered what a real gem she was. She was totally house trained, and knew all her commands. She got along well with their dogs and cat. Bob fell in love with her instantly! Pat tried to hold back because after all, her job was to adopt her out. That didn't last long, she became a part of their family almost instantly. They felt very lucky to be able to adopt her. She had all her vet needs taken care of by SAY and now they are the proud (and very happy) owners of Izzy or Isabella as they sometimes call her. They thank Save a Yorkie Rescue for their new treasure! Congratulations Sweet Izzy, you are a very lucky girl!!!
Shagster Laura and her 2 sons came from Pa to pick up the Shagster. They loved him! The boys are 15 and 17 and very sweet polite boys. Everyone got along great and they were all so excited to have him. I just know he is going to be very loved! I felt very comfortable giving up my boy to such a nice family. I know Shags is going to have a wonderful life. Congratulations Shagster, you are one lucky boy!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
