Luppi The little munchkin has a new home. The first 30 mins were tentative, Miss Luppi was not at all sure of âthose peopleâ. The family was very patient and let her sniff and bark until she thought they were oooookkkkaaayyyy. She let everyone love on her, AND play with her favorite toy. I have no doubt that she has a great life ahead of her. Congratulations Luppi!!!
Firestar I am so thankful for Save a Yorkie Rescue! I was blessed to be able to foster Firestar! She is truly a Star! There is no denying, the moment my husband and I made the journey home to foster Firestar; we knew that she was special. Her true personality of being such a happy and bouncy little girl shines bright. She has captured our hearts and every day we continue to bond with love. We are so very happy to have Firestar as part of our family! Congratulations to Firestar and us!!!
Sophia Sophia is in her forever home with the Stilman's, their beautiful grand-daughter Allysa and Sophia's (now) two little four legged sisters Tilly and Lulu! When the Stilman's came to meet Sophia, Maryanne immediately sat on the floor with her and I think Sophia bonded! Then Sophia saw Tilly and proceeded to follow her all around my apartment. They kept touching their noses together, it was the cutest thing ever! I received a sweet video of Sophia running in the backyard with Maryann and Tilly...she walked almost a mile, exploring the backyard and then wanted to be picked up to go inside for a nap next to Larry. (what a life!) Sophia is especially close to Allysa and lights up when she walks through the door ready for hugs. Maryann said "she is my baby girl..I put a little bell on her collar and I hear her jingling behind me everywhere I go!" What a loving family!! Congratulations Sophia!!!
Maci At the time our rescue as bombarded with several rescues needing fosters from a shelter in MD we decided to foster Maci. She was so tiny and needed some TLC. As the days went on Maci quickly became a fixture in our family. She gives our 5 yr old Yorkie Tino a run for his money! He is He is a good sport though. After several emails to possible families for Maci, the reality of her leaving us set in. My husband and I talked about it and felt that we didnât want to part with her. She is part of our family and had such a rough start we decided to make Maci the fourth member of our family! Congratulations Maci!!!
Pinot Grigio After many months of loving cuddles, Pinot Grigio is off to his forever home. Debbie, Nick, and Trixie made the trip from Sewickley, PA to meet Pinot. We met outside and Pinot made himself at home going right into their car. Trixie is a sweet, loving 9 year old that acts like a young pup. Her and Pinot hit it off immediately. Debbie and Nick stayed and had a bit of lunch where we all got to know each other. Debbie had pictures of her dogs from the past 30 years. Lots of Yorkies that lived upwards of 17-18 years. Then it was time to get down to the adoption, contracts signed, meds reviewed and final hugs and kisses. Lots of tears from foster Mom Cathy but Pinot walked out and jumped in their car. Debbie sent this picture a couple minutes after they left! Pinot will be one that will always have a piece of my heart. Congratulations Pinot Grigio!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
