Phoebee

Cindy drove two hours from her hometown in Maryland with her friend Patty. Packed in the back of her VW Beetle was an extra-large, soft-side travel crate stuffed with new toys and blankets. She knew Pheobee suffers from anxiety in the car, so she came prepared to ease her ride back! Cindy and Pheobee spent three hours getting to know each other, but it was obvious from previous conversations and within the first few moments, that they were a beautiful match. Pheobee spent most of the visit on her lap and thanking her with kisses for her new toys. She stayed curled up cozy as we discussed all there was that we learned about Pheobee for the time we had her. Congratulations Phoebee!!!

Cora

They came, they saw, they took her. Sharon and Laura arrived with their two adorable dogs, Lexi and Sunny for the official "meet and greet". Cora always barked like crazy when someone entered my house, but when Sharon and Laura walked in, Cora was amazingly friendly and receptive to all of them. Hmmm, a definite sign that I made the right decision. It didn't take long when she nuzzled up to Laura, Sharon's best friend, who lives with her. Since their meet and greet I have received daily updates and it looks like Cora has made herself at home. Congratulations Cora!!!

Little Bosley

Here is Little Bosley with part of his new family. Congratulations Little Bosley!!!

Quincie

The meet and greet took place for Quincie, and it took a while for him to warm up to his forever parents. Once he did, it went very well. When they came back, he was so excited to see them.. It was hard saying goodbye but at the same time I am so very happy for him.. He is a great little guy with a huge personality all his own. I am sure that he is going to be very happy with his new parents. Congratulations Quincie!!!

Harlee

Our family decided to adopt Harley after only having him for two weeks. He just fit into our family perfectly! He’s so gentle and loving. He and Layla, (who we fostered and adopted back in October of 2018) get along very well. Layla is younger at 1-1/2 and Harley is almost 8 years old, but he’s keeping up with her energy. In the short amount of time Harley has been with us, he and Layla have become friends! He enjoys being outside and taking walks. He loves to lay in the sunshine whether it be on our son’s bed or at the front door. He likes to sit on your lap and be scratched. He loves turkey and deer bacon! So far he has not shown an interested in toys or bully sticks, but we catch him watching Layla with hers, so maybe in time he will give them both a try. Just recently he decided to take one of Layla’s favorite toys, her Woodstock and hide it on her. He walked the entire house, with Layla close behind, looking for a spot until he found one. We are grateful to have Layla and Harley in our family! Congratulations Harlee!!!
