Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie.
Valentina will be available for adoption after she has patellar surgery on both legs. She is 2 years old and weighs 6 lbs. Her adoption fee is $700.00. Valentina is a very special young lady! She is 6lbs of unbelievable cuteness! She is 2 years old with lots of energy and she likes to talk. Valentina has patellar luxation. It is a degenerative condition in both of her back legs. The condition causes the kneecap (patella) to pop out of its socket causing pain and limpness. The kneecap is popped out most of the time, and while it can be reinserted manually, it tends to pop itself right back out again. This condition will only worsen over time without surgery to keep this beautiful girl from being in constant pain. Consider sponsoring Valentina’s surgery and help this rescued girl secure a long life with two strong legs to assist her in running and playing with her friends. Valentina's surgery will be scheduled soon and the surgeon will do only one leg at a time. There will be a 12 week recuperation for each leg but will be worth it in the end for this vibrant little girl. Many thanks to the wonderful people that are Sponsoring Valentina! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
