Inky is available for adoption. Although the dogs grew up together, they are not bonded or that fond of each other. Inky is the sweetest boy in the world, he’s had a rough life but it hasn’t changed his kind heart He is all about your love & attention and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body. He does have a collapsing trachea but the medicine is working like a charm! He will need to take it forever but it’s inexpensive. Inky also has some anxiety issues and is taking meds and continues to improve. Hopefully that improvement will continue at his forever home. He doesn't like to be left alone, it seems to make his anxiety worse. He is very happy just to be with his person, cuddling on the couch or lying in his bed next to you while you work from home. Inky eats Purina Proplan and takes his pills in American cheese, which he loves! He had his dental cleaning last Friday and only had one tooth pulled; he’s healed and ready for adoption. He gets along great with our four dogs and loves to jump all around, threatening them with a good time! Inky is staying with Susannah and Sara in Norfolk, VA. Save A Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) qualified non-profit organization operating on donations from Yorkie lovers who care. Please help by donating your tax deductible donations. OR mail your check or money order to YOUR generosity is appreciated! Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult. ADOPTION AREA Save A Yorkie Rescue prefers to adopt only in the PA, NJ, western NY, DE, MD, VA, some CT area's. If you are in the NYC area or near Long Island, there is a Yorkie Rescue closer to you. |
