He came as a stray with nothing to call his own. But he has found us and we will make sure he gets whatever he needs. And he needs a HOME. Rags is a wonderful dog - young, energetic, healthy and ready to love his family. He needs lots and lots and lots of walks. This is important. The Dog Whisperer says, "Exercise or your dog will become neurotic." We agree. If you don't have time to walk this great little dog, look for another dog. IF you have the time and patience to take him to obedience class, then YOU are the one to take Rags home. Don't worry about that name. It really isn't his. You can give him any name you like, he says he won't mind. He wants to come home. He loves to ride in the car, gets along with other dogs, and doesn't mind a bath either. He still has to be neutered, so of course he is not housebroken. Can you housebreak a dog? You would have to housebreak any puppy you take in, so this is YOUR job. Loving you is his job. Is Rags right for you??? Young Yorkies will have a higher adoption donation since they are the most highly sought after and they help to cover the costs of the older dogs who have a harder time finding a loving home. It is sad but true that people overwhelming demand very young dogs when they would be infinitely happier with a mellow adult.
