Louis V What'Âs not to love about a Louis Vuitton? Nothing! That'Âs exactly what Pam and Mark discovered when they came for their meet and greet with Louis V. He found his forever home with them and he will be treated with all the love and attention that this dog with the high end personality deserves! Congratulations Louie!!!
Maximillion Max is doing wonderful getting adjusting and letting his sweet personality shine through. He has done great getting to know our fur babies and fitting right into our home. We have decided Max fit in so well into our home that we wanted him to be apart of our family. His fun loving personality and the way he settles in for his nightly snuggle time we would miss too much. Looking forward to many years of squirrel chasing, ball playing, and all the kisses and love this boy has to give. Congratulations Maximillion!!!
Albert Eli Charley âÂÂAlbieâ Thomas is on the way to his new adventure! This was a super easy adoption. Chanta and Cookie showed up a little after 3 pm and she Chris and I plus 5 dogs all went for a pack walk. I started out with Albert, Lucy and Beau but passed over the leash to Chanta and cookie shortly after leaving the yard. That has become my new way of letting go. It seems to help. After the walk and introductions were completed we took a seat in the living room to chat and let the dogs visit. My pack was very attentive and then they all settled down with a bully stick while Cookie and Albert explored each other and the house. Albie jumped up in his new moms lap and sat with her off and on during all the paperwork review. After all the necessary paperwork was completed we demonstrated feeding procedures. Albie ate well and took his medicine like a good boy. Then it was potty time and adventure time! My husband and I helped them load up the car for their journey home. After some kisses and reassurance to the little guy I tucked them all in and I turned around to see the photo below and it nearly broke my heart. His big old eyes were just looking at me as if to say âÂÂwhat is happening?â I asked her to roll the window down so I could get a better shot of photo below. He was such a good boy though. He was really trying hard and he was definitely interested in Cookie and Chanta. I know itâÂÂs the perfect place for him but there is always that void when the house gets too quiet right after they leave. But Lucy Belle told me this week it was time for him to go. While this picture tears at my heart it also make me so happy. ItâÂÂs almost as if he is smiling, thanking me for the help and letting me know he will be okay. Godspeed Charley âÂÂAlbieâ Thomas! You will be missed (except by Lucy Belle!) LOL but you are already loved so much. Congratulations Albert Eli!!!
Booker Our journey to adopting Willy (formerly Booker) starts as a sad story but ends on a happy note. When we lost our Yorkie, Madison, in October after a monthlong battle with lymphoma, we were not sure if or when we'd get another dog. Maddy was not only our little girl, she was our roommate, playmate, travel buddy, office assistant, therapy dog, and all-around perfect pup. She was with us for 13 years, and we were like two sad and lost puppies without the companionship of our wonder dog. In the days and weeks following, there was an emptiness we could not fill no matter how busy we kept ourselves. That's when we decided that since we have the time, space, and experience we'd volunteer to foster a Yorkie in need as a way to honor our Madison. Willy from Philly was found roaming the city streets all by himself, yet you'd never know it based on his happy and sweet disposition. Sure, he was nervous when he first came to us. He could not sit still the entire drive up the NJ Turnpike. He pooped on the floor within ten minutes of entering our apartment and marked everything in sight. He had an ear infection and dental disease. But with each minute, hour, and day he was with us, he calmed down and showed us more of his personality: he let us bathe him, joyfully played with his toys, ate more, snuggled up to us on the couch, showed us how well he walks on a leash, and recovered from dental surgery like a champ. And with each minute, hour, and day we've spent with him, we've realized that, while there is no replacement for Madison, we have the capacity to love and care for another dog. In short, we've helped each other heal. As we shared the news with family and friends that we were fostering a Yorkie, most predicted we'd be foster failures. We weren't convinced that we were ready, but turns out they were correct in their assumptions. Willy trotted into our lives at the right time without us even knowing it. We're thrilled to call him a member of our family and hope to adopt a sibling for him at some point but in the meantime we'll stick to fostering seriously. Congratulations Booker!!!
Ziva Today Ziva went home with her forever family, Tyler and Fernanda. What a great match for Ziva. She will have a big home with a nice yard to play in. Ziva will be the only animal in their home. We where all so happy especially Tyler who was celebrating his birthday today. When Fernanda looked at ZivaâÂÂs paperwork she realized that Ziva and Fernanda share the same birthday. IâÂÂm expecting some birthday party pictures from them in May. Thank you very much SAYR for the work you do and for the opportunity to be a foster Mom. Congratulations Ziva!!!
