Dakoda

This week was very busy for Dakoda. He did very well with his dental procedure. His recovery will take about two weeks as they removed several teeth. After a few days he had that most necessary Spa day, the scraggly little guy turned into an adorable Yorkie treasure. And on Saturday he was adopted by Serena, Andrew, Michael and their resident paws Benson. Congratulations Dakoda!!!

Duncan Pumpkin

Karen came over yesterday with her sister Lisa to meet Dunkin. It was love at first sight, he was all over her giving her kisses. We spend a lot of time just chilling and letting him do his thing. We then went for a walk outside so she could see his energy and she is in love with his energy it is just what she hoped for. I have no doubt that this will be a great match for both of them. He already is settling into her home and had a great 8 hours straight through the night. He went for a walk today with two of the neighbor dogs and he got along great with them. Congratulations Dunkin Pumpkin!!!

Darlin

Darlin has found his forever home with his human mom, Nicolette and his adopted sister Macy, (AKA “Marietta”, adopted August 2017 from SAYRescue). As soon as, Darlin met his new sister Macy, we knew it was meant to be. Darlin is getting lots of cuddles and love in his new home and is currently trying to teach Macy his “happy dance”. Nicolette thanks SAYR for its efforts for bringing Darlin “home”. Congratulations Darlin!!!

Delilah

We are long and enthusiastic Yorkie lovers and have had several Yorkies so far. Currently we have a 12-year old Yorkie girl and we wanted to add some more. Instead of buying one, we decided to help one that needed a home. After fostering for a little, Delilah came around and stole our hearts with her sweet personality and we are very thrilled after a long wait to include her to our family. We love her already and she will have a happy life with us. Thank you Save A Yorkie Rescue! We are happy to be part of your organization and admire the time, effort, and money you put into saving these beautiful little creatures. Wishing you all the best! Dixie Lee

Dixie Lee was adopted by Adrienne & Amy from Salisbury, MD. She's joins their family of 4 dogs, 2 Yorkies Katie & Lyvee (pictured) and their big dogs Klifford & Kalvin. They're amazing dog moms, as most of their dogs have special needs. Dixie, now Luna, is already a great playmate for their 7 year old Yorkie Katie. They are having lots of fun chasing each other around and seem to never run out of energy. The whole family enjoys regular trips to the beach and lots of outside activities. They've already sent several videos of Dixie playing in their big backyard! Although Dixie is just a puppy, she has already had a hard life but all that will be quickly forgotten as she embraces her wonderful new life with her new family. Susannah & Sara
