Rose Vickie & Dan say Rose (Rosie) is doing so well and has adjusted into her new home. Â Rosie has the status of being a DIVA!! Only problem, she takes out all her toys, but does not put them back. Â LOL. Rosie is a true love and loves giving kisses and being in your lap. Â Thank you Save a Yorkie Rescue for helping me find our little girl Rosie. Â She is just so precious. Â Congratulations Rose!!!Â
Rocky Balboa Rocky Balboa has found his forever home in PA just like his namesake! The family drove 2 hours to meet Rocky. They spent quite a bit of time understanding his needs. They came prepared with treats and their daughter Alex was able to break the ice with Rocky. The best part about the meeting was Rocky's interaction with their dog Tucker. Their tails went up right away and both patiently waited for their turn to get yummy treats. The Leff's are experienced Yorkie owners and will go above and beyond to make their furry family members comfortable. I wish Andrea, Marty, Alex, Tucker, and Rocky Balboa all the best! On our end tears have not stopped since yesterday and we miss him terribly. Having Rocky in our home has been one of the most rewarding experiences and our home will never quite be the same. We look forward to getting plenty of updates and watching Rocky thrive in his furever home. Congratulations Rocky Balboa!!!
RooDee Faith and Steve drove to PA from Connecticut to meet Roodee and see if theyâd be a good match. Pleased to announce- ROODEE HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME. Faith came with treats and toys which won Roodee over and he gets to spend a good chunk of today doing his favorite thing- riding in a car!! Faith and Steve impressed me with their willingness to drive this far just to meet Roodee. They were stunned to find out that if they thought it was a good fit, they could take him home today. They were willing to make the drive again, if need be. So happy they were more than willing to give an older dog with health issues a chance! Congratulations RooDee!!!
Rex Rex had his meet and greet with Lorraine and Woody on Monday, August 9th at 1 pm. I met them outside with Rex and introductions were made. Their dog Baylee was very friendly and tolerant of Rex sniffing her from head to toe!! After greeting Baylee his tail began to wag. He went to Lorraine and let her pet him on the back. After we were all comfortable with each other we came in to chat for a little while. We all took seats in my living room. I usually sit on the floor in front of the coffee table to assist in paperwork and allow the dog to sit with me while we work if necessary. Rex stayed close to me but did interact with Lorraine. We placed Rex on the loveseat next to Lorraine and she began petting him. After a few minutes I asked if âthis was the one?â She said yes I believe so. We pulled out the paperwork and began going through the adoption agreement. She had a pen in one hand and was petting Rexâs head. Res was leaning heavily towards her with his âRexy lean!â She could barely sign all the papers because he kept nudging her had for âmore pets please!â while Baylee sniffed every inch of my living room! Rex was a little shy but given what he has been through it is understandable. He is such a sweet and quiet little man, so loving and polite. As we gathered up his bed, blanket and goodie bag I felt that familiar tug at my heart. Rex fell right in with my pack. There was never any âarguingâ over food, treats or people. There was only acceptance and love from all involved. I knew it was going to be hard to let him go but I know he needs a home where he can be the king (and Baylee can be the queen.) The Triceâs are wonderful people and I know Rex will settle in once he understands this is his new home. He did tug at the leash and follow Lorraine to the truck as she put away his things before placing him in the car to ride to his furever home. Congratulations Rex!!!
Ruffus Ruffus came to our home as a foster in September. As soon as we saw his sweet face we knew we were going to love him. His gentle and easy going personality that came out made us love him even more. He quickly became attached to us and is Chucks shadow. When we were faced with the idea of looking through applications to find him a forever home we knew he had already found his home. As someone pointed out to me I think he knew this before we did! So he joins our family and pack as our first foster fail. He has brothers and sisters too, Rebel our 5 yo yorkie who is a puppy mill survivor, Bailey who is a 5 yo yorkiepoo rescue, and Corra who is a 9 yo yorkiepoo and a Save A Yorkie Rescue Forever Ours foster. I believe we all got the best Christmas gift ever this year, Ruffus got his forever home and we got him! Congratulations Ruffus!!! Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
