Dayzee

Another foster failure! We adopted Dayzee, now known as Nattie because she just seemed meant to be with us. She fit in perfect with our boys Dutch & Jack and even after being treated so poorly by her former owners, she is still the sweetest, most loving little girl ever! She's been through so much but her resilient spirit is amazing & inspiring. Congratulations Dayzee, you are a very lucky girl!!!

Bashful Baxter

Bashful Baxter and his new family, Paul and Kathleen. Congratulations Bashful Baxter, you are a very lucky boy!!!

Rosey

Phone calls and emails started coming in asking about Rosey. Everyone thought they had a good reason to adopt her. Almost everyone I spoke with appeared to be missing something that would give her the forever home she needed. Some had no fenced in yard, or worked all day and she would be home alone, others simply wanted a “lap dog.” She needed a fenced in yard to run in, chasing after the chipmunks and birds. She needed companions other than humans. We knew that she needed Oliver to play with in the yard and take walks with her. My husband and I also knew, after a short period of time that we needed her to be part of our family. She is still becoming a loving and playful puppy. After only a few weeks, she cuddles more, plays more and has gained a lot more confidence in herself. She pushes Abby and Oliver, much larger dogs, out her way when it’s time to play in the yard. I enjoy watching her chase them and try to engage them in a tug of war. She’s not the same anxious dog she was when she first came to our home, but rather a very playful puppy. This little girl with her adorable smile and crooked teeth has captured our hearts. It was impossible to let her go. Congratulations Rosey, you are a very lucky girl!!!

Zoe de Doe

It was a happy day for Zoe as she met her forever family. She immediately gave Joyce kisses as she took her into her arms to say hello. She sat on Joyce's lap and snuggled comfortably as we talked about all that they would need to know about this precious little girl. She rubbed her head on Eric's leg-another sign of her affection for them. Joyce texted us the day after Zoe left to let us know that she is settling into her forever home and finding her favorite spots. We knew our sweet, petite Zoe would be a treat for some lucky family! Thank you Joyce and Eric for being that family. Congratulations Zoe de Doe, you are a very lucky girl!!!

Zailey

Joyce came for a meet and greet with Zailey and was adopted. Everyone got along and surprisingly Zailey warmed up to Joyce very quickly. Joyce emailed me this morning and said everyone slept well together and are getting along great. So far Zailey is fine, learning the routine. This morning she took her for a walk by herself and she knew which driveway to turn into. Congratulations Zailey, you are a very lucky girl!!!
